Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS)
  • The Government of India has launched a scheme i.e. IPDS for Strengthening of Sub-Transmission & Distribution Network and Metering in Urban areas.
  • M/s. PFC Ltd. (Power Finance Corporation), New Delhi is the Nodal Agency.
  • M/s. PFC Ltd. has communicated sanctions as: In 1st Phase, 3Nos. DPRs covering 15Nos. Towns in 3 Circles i.e. Vizianagaram(4 Towns), Visakhapatnam(3 Towns) and Eluru(8 Towns) for an amount of Rs.222.42 Crs. were sanctioned on 26.2.2015. In 2nd Phase, 2Nos. DPRs covering 14Towns in 2 Circles i.e., Srikakulam (5Towns) and Rajamahendravaram (9 Towns) for an amount of Rs.77.58Crs. were sanctioned on 09.03.2016.
  • M/s. PFC Ltd., New Delhi has sanctioned a DPR on 21.11.2017 for Implementation of Additional System Strengthening works under IPDS in 8 Towns for an amount of Rs.18.00 Crs. in addition to the above sanctions. Tenders were floated with due date of opening is 31.01.2018.
  • As per the scheme guidelines, M/s. PFCCL, New Delhi has appointed as PMA on 18.05.2015.
  • The Circle-wise sanctioned Scheme cost to APEPDCL is as shown below:
