High Voltage Distribution System (HVDS):

Objective: Under this scheme the Low Voltage System for the existing Agricultural services is to be converted into High Voltage Distribution System.

    HVDS works under NEF Scheme:

    • M/s. REC has sanctioned HVDS Project under NEF with a project cost of Rs.136.72 Crores. Out of which the sanctioned loan is for Rs.123.05Crs. in Rajamahendravaram (Rs.8.748 Crs.) and Eluru (Rs.114.61 Crs.) Circles.

    STATUS:

    • Rajamahendravaram: The works completed in Amalapuram, RC Puram and Kakianda Divisions of Rajamahendravaram Circle.
    • Eluru: So far 67% works completed by 31.12.2017 and balance works are under progress.
