Time of Day metering (TOD)

• APEPDCL receives about 28 % of revenue from 42 EHT consumers
• By introducing Time of day metering ( TOD) for the said consumers , it is expected to achieve about 500 MWs of peak load reduction. Load curves of the DISCOM and of the EHT consumers furnished to KPMG Consultants to analyze and chalk out TOD tariff with peak load shift incentives to the EHT consumers during the Ist phase
• Present AMR system is being fine tuned to incorporate retrieval of billing parameters at 15 minutes interval.
